@ 4 months

Back at work for 2 weeks and adjusting back to work life. Most nights i reach home at abt 8 (long journey home) and am totally knocked out by 10ish that i dun have much time for baby Braedon. The night feeds sure are taking their toll on me..

I so cherish the time that I have with him. He's my "Mr Drools-Alot"...and I just love his milk powder,baby lotion smell. He makes me feel like I've struck the lottery when he poos ( the longest being 8 days without pooing) and I love the feeling of him nesting in my arms. At 4 months, he is more responsive, speaks alot in his baby language and shows signs that he's gonna flip soon. He laughs heartily with such innocence that he brightens my cold cold heart and makes this world seem like a better place..

Arm Candy, 2nd one this year

Look what the delivery man brought.. my new MBMJ Natasha Messenger Bag. I got it in desert olive colour and from Shopbop at a fraction of the retail price in Singapore ( must make good use of the favourable exchange rate yah..). There's free world wide delivery and my bag arrived in under 3 days. Am a happie gal.. lurve the supple Italian leather .. perfect for the weekends!

Water play

We brought Baby Braedon swimming at a babyspa outlet sometime back. He took time to adjust to the warm water and seem to enjoy himself after a while. My baby looked uber cute (hee.. all babies are cutesy to their mummies) when he swam in the tub. We have not made up our minds whether to sign up for the package as Baby Brae was grumpy after his swim. Hmm.. we may bring him back in a few months time..

2 and a half weeks more of maternity leave left.

Time flies so very fast.

How i wish i can stay with my notti boy till he reaches 6 months old.

This CNY

Its a busy yet not so busy Chinese New Year. Busy with looking after the little one. Not so busy because we are staying at the in-laws and I am still on maternity leave. I din "spring-clean" the homeland or got any new year goodies. (Although i still had a great time munching on the bwa kwa,pineapple tarts, kueh lapis etc at the in-laws's place and totally whacking my diet plan..haiz)

Its the usual steamboat at the in-laws a day before CNY eve with the familiar food like homemade fishballs, green chilli. I din really enjoy the meal much as baby was cranky and I had to feed him halfway thru the meal.

For CNY eve..We had dinner at the homeland with my bro and mum and the in-laws as per the arrangement after we got married. Baby slept for most of the meal, so i ate more this time round. We got teochew "peng cai" for this year as we wanted to try something different and not focus on steamboat.

Visited the dearie's relatives and my mum for "Chu Yi" and went to the sis-in-law's place for "Chu Er". Steamboat at the homeland with the family on "Chu San". That's 2011 Chinese New Year in summary. Hee

New Arm Candy

A new bag for the new year. Roomy and great for work. One bag less in the bag quota for the year. Starting to lurve bags from the brand. Hee hee.. lookin forward to getting more bags.. ;p

Been Shopping

So I kinda overdosed on the online shopping. Hee, had a great time getting baby's items online. The purchases include a breast pump, a baby carrier, baby clothes, Glee and Vampire Diaries box sets and a bag which will be delivered soon. Add in the 5 pairs of shoes i just bought, skincare and a pedicure package ( well.. i've not bought shoes for the past 1 year so i have double of the normal shoe quota rightz?!..).. will definitely have to cut back on the shopping for the next few months. Opps.

About 1.5 more months of maternity leave left. Sure hope i finish the drama shows and lose the extra weight before returning to work.

2 Months

Baby Braedon is 2 months old. We've brought him out to the nearby mall and to Orchard (Ion). Mummy had to sling him for most of the trip but he's been wonderful and slept most of the time.

Baby's cradle cap has cleared and fine hair has sprouted on the bald patch on his head with the cream given by the PD. I'm still worried that he's not getting enough breast milk with my limited supply ( hope he gains enough weight for the next visit to the PD after Chinese New Year).

He has grown more cherubic in the last one month and more aware of his surroundings. He's a jolly baby who smiles quite abit although he's not sleeping much in the daytime these days and wants to be carried to sleep. Hence Mummy has to spend most of the time tending to him.
